FAUNA HAVEN

Nestled in the heart of McLaren Vale, this project designed by Kylie Hutt of Sphere Landscape Design and Horticultural Services and built by us embodies our passion for texture-filled gardens and varied planting. It becomes a sanctuary for local fauna, their movements lending an energetic dynamic to the serene space. Central to this design is a calming circular lawn, harmoniously contrasting the rich, eclectic plant palette surrounding it. The perfect partner to the existing pool area and part of this rich backyard oasis.

The carefully devised planting plan ushers in a captivating cyclic change with every season, adding to the site’s visual interest. Layers of texture are woven throughout the design, from hardwood battens to Corten steel planters, enhancing the aesthetic appeal and touch sensation of the garden. Raw materials like Carey Gully sandstone and recycled red bricks, serve to emphasize the earthy, natural feel of this outdoor room.

Here, the lush greenery grows and matures, framing the open lawn and contributing to a lively, yet soothing, retreat. It becomes a feast for the senses, a testimony to our love for diverse textures, dynamic plantings, and inviting, outdoor spaces.
